Ex-model and restaurateur B. Smith, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, went missing in the Hamptons - but now, she's back with family. More inside…

B. Smith, the first African-American model to grace the cover of women’s magazine Mademoiselle, went missing in the Hamptons.  The legendary model and restaurateur was reported missing by her husband/business partner Dan Gasby (above) after she did not return home from a trip to NYC.

According to reports, the 65-year-old, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, was last seen in Southhampton, Long Island around 8pm ET on Tuesday wearing a blue sweater, pink shirt, jeans and black sneakers.  Apparently, she took a jitney from NYC to Sag Harbor (where she lives with her husband), but ended up getting off in Southhampton.

ABC reports that B. Smith's daughter was told by the jitney driver that she got off at the Sag Harbor stop, BUT then, according to unnamed friends, she got back onto the jitney and returned to the city. Thankfully, she was spotted by someone at a diner who called it in.

We’re very grateful that B. Smith was located and is in the safety of her loved ones.
