Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom co-stars Idris Elba and Naomie Harris attended the launch of La Maison Remy Martin members club yesterday. Peep their pics and shots of Eddie Murphy on the set of his new movie Cook inside….
A couple of our fave YBF British movie stars were in London yesterday for the launch of the La Maison Remy Martin members-only club. The sexy Idris Elba and the beautiful Naomie Harris, who both played in Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, were front and center at the event.
Outside of acting, Idris has a new musical project in the works. The “Luther” actor is set to release a new album inspired by the police detective (John Luther) he portrays on the show, tentatively titled Murder Loves John. This album will follow-up his latest musical offering, Idris Elba Presents mi Mandela, which is a collection of tracks inspired by his role as Nelson Mandela in Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
The actor dished to RadioTimes about his upcoming album saying,
“I’d like to dissect the idea of someone who has to deal with so much darkness,” he told BBC Radio 4’s Front Row. “That could create some really good songs … and definitely an interesting mood, musically.”
Interesting.
Fab chick Naomie Harris kept it demure and chic in an Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket, with nothing underneath for a little sex appeal, paired with Alexander McQueen contrast cuff trousers. She completed her look with Bionda Castana ‘Alexandra’ pointy pumps, accessorized with Bee Goddess jewels and a black, red and white printed Alexander McQueen clutch.
So hot!
During the event, the Skyfall actress chatted with British supermodel Yasmin Le Bon. She may have been dishing the dirt on the latest gig she just wrapped up as 'Gail Perkins' in the upcoming thriller Out Kind of Traitor. The movie is expected to be released in the UK sometime in 2015.
Speaking of movie stars:
When he isn’t on a coffee run with his girlfriend Paige Butcher, Eddie Murphy is back working on a movie set in L.A.
For his newest film Cook, Eddie plays Henry Church, a chef who agrees to care for a dying mother and her daughter for six months, only to end up remaining in their lives for the next 15 years.
Looks like the movie is set in the 70s based on their attire.
In other movie news...Eddie has also joined the cast to reprise his role in new movie Beverly Hills Cop 4, which is scheduled to drop in early 2016. Not only that, he's set to star in the Twins comedy sequel titled Triplets, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito. And he's also rumored to star opposite Halle Berry and Laurence Fishburne in a biopic about jazz legend Miles Davis titled, Miles And Me.
Work!
