As one of the finest actresses of her generation, it?s wonderful to see Jennifer Aniston finally getting the love she deserves from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The ?Friends? star?s dramatic role in the forthcoming film ?Cake? is already earning her some Oscar attention as she plays a mourner suffering chronic pain- a huge departure from her usual fare.
On Sunday (November 16) Jennifer told People, "It was just a wonderfully beautiful story of a woman in extraordinary pain, living through an unthinkable trauma. I also found her quite humorous and quite endearing. You have empathy for the character."
And getting her head around the project proved a bit difficult for Aniston, though all of the hard work paid off big time- "That was a challenge for me. How do we tell this story without having everyone hate her? I actually loved her. But the movie has a beautiful way of unfolding itself without giving the story away and allowing the audience to go with the journey as it's being told."
When asked how she feels about the pre-Oscar buzz, Jennifer said she is ?flattered,? though she tends to react ?awkwardly and stutteringly.?
