It?s been a while since we?ve seen her act, but Blake Lively is making her return to the big screen in ?The Age of Adaline,? and lucky for us, the first teaser trailer is here!
The 27-year-old actress stars as a woman who gets into a car accident at the age of 29 in the 1930s, which magically stops her from aging. Even though she gets to be beautiful her entire life, Blake?s character cannot grow old with the ones she loves.
Over the years, the Adaline role had been linked to Katherine Heigl and Natalie Portman. However, Lee Toland Krieger, the film?s director, told ?USA Today? that Blake was the best fit. ?For someone who is 27 years old, she?s wildly sophisticated and seems like an old soul,? he explained.
?The Age of Adaline,? which also stars Harrison Ford, Amanda Crew and Ellen Burstyn, hits theaters in April 2015. Check out the trailer below, and tell us what you think!
