Giving fans an early Christmas present, ELLE UK put Benedict Cumberbatch on the front of their December 2014 issue.
The ?Sherlock? hunk explains that while his fame has certainly brought him good fortune, he?s also experienced some shady business as well.
Cumberbatch shared, ?It?s a really double-edged sword. You know, you discover why people find you attractive ? in a relationship or a tryst ? and if it?s just to have a go on you or try you out, then I can smell that a mile off.?
As for his role as Alan Turing in ?The Imitation Game,? Benedict explained, ?Turing is so different to Sherlock. There?s a real subtlety about him; his flourishes aren?t flamboyant, he doesn?t think of himself that highly.?
On a related note, Cumberbatch has not been confirmed to be playing the lead in the forthcoming Marvel film ?Doctor Strange.? Studio president Kevin Feige told press, ?If it was confirmed, we would have announced it today.?
