Jay Z returned to the stage last night for his 2nd B-Sides concert for his beloved TIDAL subscribers. His wife Beyonce and Rihanna skipped out on the BBMAs to attend. Also, LaLa & Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade were in the building. More inside….
While the 2015 Billboard Music Awards went down in Las Vegas, Jay Z hit the stage for the second show of his B-Sides concert exclusively tailored for TIDAL subscribers at Terminal 5 in NYC.
Following an epic State Property reunion the night before, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Neef and crew all reunited once again to rock the house for a second time.
After news of “Coke Boy” rapper Chinx Drugz being gunned down in Queens early Sunday morning, Hov decided to switch up his set a bit to include a tribute to the slain rapper. Jay paid tribute to Chinx reminding concertgoers that “we” (black people, men in particular) are under attack and that we have to protect our own. He said,
“A young man got killed in Queens. His name was Chinx. I think it’s real important for us…I can’t understand it. We are seriously under attack like never before. R.I.P. Chinx. And we still killing each other. We need to understand that we are kings and queens and we are under attack. A young man trying to make a way out of the hood, goes back to his hood….I mean we can’t have it both ways. People say ‘they left the hood and never want to come back’ and then when people go to the hood they get killed. We can’t have it both ways. We have to protect our own. And I know how situations are set up, I come from the same place y’all came from. I made it up out of here, so I know how hard it is. We have to take responsibility for the sh*t we doing. The statistics are against us. Let’s not make it harder on ourselves.”

Instead of getting all glammed up for the BBMAs, Beyonce was in attendance for her hubby’s B-Sides concert, rocking a sequined Chicago Bulls jersey and black leather skirt. She made a beeline to NYC after a humanitarian trip to Haiti.
Since Hov refers to himself as the "Michael Jordan of Rap," the Carters both rocked matching Bulls jerseys. Jay had his on under his black t-shirt.
Fans caught a pic of Bey and her cousin Angie Beyince sharing a laugh. Wonder what they were peeping at.
And look who else was there….
“Power” actress LaLa Anthony and her NBA baller husband Carmelo Anthony made it a date night last night. Love them.
LaLa linked up with her friend Angie for an "us-ie" before the show.
Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade was also in the mix, snapping it up with Melo and LaLa's brother Christian Vazquez.
Then they all gathered with Hov and co. for a group shot. Fun times.
Afterwards...
Rihanna was spotted snapping it up with Beanie Siegel and fans at the VIP room.
