Yesterday, the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards went down in L.A. bringing out Zendaya, “black•ish” kiddies and Jennifer Lopez. Also, Octavia Spencer was spotted in L.A. helping to raise funds for the Education Destination City Year event held at Sony Studios. Check out the flicks inside….
This year’s Radio Disney Music Awards went down at the Nokia Theatre in L.A. yesterday to celebrate some of entertainment’s brightest young stars. And Disney actress Zendaya was tapped to host the event, making her hosting debut.
The “K.C. Undercover” star kept it funky on the carpet rocking a black cropped top and black high-waisted trousers decorated with pops of color from Peter Pilotto's Spring '15 collection, serving up a 70s hippie vibe. During the awards ceremony, Zendaya had plenty of outfit changes as she hosted the family-friendly show.
Work it Zendaya!
In a recent interview with "GMA" she talked about being a "real" model versus a "role" model for her fans who look up to her. She said, "I don’t want to play a role or pretend to be something that I’m not, especially since young kids are watching. It just helps that I’m a good kid. I just want to continue to be that positive light or that positive influence for a lot of young people because sometimes I feel we lack that.” Loves it.
45-year-old singer Jennifer Lopez dazzled on the carpet in a David Koma SS15 crop top and high-waisted pencil skirt before taking the stage to accept the Hero Award.
Congrats!
And before she headed out, the "Booty" songstress served up a "booty"ful bathroom pic.
Back on the carpet....
“black•ish” cuties Miles Brown and Marsai Martin are melting our hearts with their adorableness on the carpet.
The kiddies caught up with their “black•ish” older sister and brother, Yara Shahidi and Marcus Scribner. Too cute.
Disney actress and singer Coco Jones kept it cute on the carpet.
The Radio Disney Music Awards airs tonight at 8PM ET on the Disney Channel.
Elsewhere in Hollywood....
Oscar winner Octavia Spencer came out to support and help raise funds for the Education Destination City Year Los Angeles Spring Break fundraiser event held at Sony Studios yesterday.
Making her rounds, the "Mom" star posed it up alongside Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth.
“black•ish” cutie Marsai Martin hit up two events yesterday. She got a chance to snap it up with Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons during the fundraising event.
One of our fave YBF couples Meagan Good and her husband DeVon Franklin were all about giving back as they came out together to support.
Meagan stopped for a photo-op with actress Jaida-Iman Benjamin.
"Vampire Diaries" star Kat Graham strutted her stuff in an all-black ensemble. Fab look.
And Precious star Xosha Roquemore (left) was on the scene with a friend.
