"Instant Mom" star Tia Mowry Hardrict hit NYC to promote her Cooking Channel show "Tia Mowry At Home." Check out the fab chick chopping it up with Wendy Williams and all her perfect looks this week. Plus, watch the Chocolate City trailer...
Tia Mowry Hardrict debuts her new Cooking Channel show, “Tia Mowry at Home,” tonight at 9pmET and she's been very busy doing tv/radio/print promo in New York City today.
The show is shot like a reality series with a string of segments showing Tia doing yoga, shooting hoops, spending time with her husband, “American Sniper” actor Cory Hardrict, and their 3-year-old son, Cree (shown above in pics from Tia's Instagram) and of course...there's the comfort food.
She told the NY Daily News,
“It’s not just about me being in the kitchen telling people how to cook – it’s a behind-the-scenes of my life, and that’s why I’m so excited about it.
But I don’t want people to feel like they always have to go straight to the TV dinner, or go to the fast food, because you have a busy, hectic life. This show is for women who live very busy lives, whether they’re moms who work or moms who stay at home.”
Earlier this morning, Tia (shown arriving at the WENDY studios) appeared on The WENDY WILLIAMS Show for a somewhat tense segment. In case you missed it, Tia's hubby Cory appeared on the show last week where Wendy asked him if Tia was jealous of his Brotherly Love co-star Keke Palmer (who had admitted to having a crush on him back in the day).
Well....there was some light-tension between the two during the cooking segment. It was obvious that Wendy had been told to avoid any "KeKe" questions. Did Tia give up any tea? Yes. She did reveal that she and sister Tamera Mowry live 45-mins apart, her son Cree is a very good eater and she has not decided if she'll return to BET's "The Game" for its final season. Also, she says Cory likes to join her in the kitchen. Obviously - those were the only pre-approved topics.
As we stated earlier, Tia hit the promo circuit hard. Before she headed to WENDY, Tia appeared on TODAY.
She wore a suit from Band Of Outsiders and Stuart Weitzman shoes. And we're loving it. And her bob.
Other looks this week that we loved:
She rocked this leg-baring number (above) at Sirius XM. And during her interview on Shade 45, she addressed the Keke Palmer "situation."
When asked about the drama, she said,
“All of that is so not true. This whole situation was taken out of context.”
The 36-year-old actress said the picture of her grabbing Keke’s arm that was floating around was misinterpreted. She said at that particular moment they were both uplifting each other. Keke was telling her how much she loves “Sister, Sister” and Tia was telling her about her new book with her twin sister, "Twintuition: Double Vision."
The Baggage Claim star confirmed there is no bad blood between the two, revealing Keke has been over her house for pool parties. She blames social media for blowing this up into something that. She said,
“It’s just so disgusting. It’s so not true and I don’t want to give any more energy to it because it’s ridiculous.”
It’s interesting to note, she said NOTHING about that tweet she tweeted and deleted. Hmph.
Tia Mowry At Home premieres tonight at 9pm ET on The Cooking Channel.
