He almost won a Grammy for his song ?Because I Got High,? but Afroman acted more like a thug than a decorated musician during his Biloxi, Mississippi gig last night (February 17).
The 40-year-old rapper was five songs into his set when a young woman made her way onto the stage and began dancing right behind him as he played a guitar solo.
Out of nowhere, Afroman turned and hurled his fist at the lady, knocking her to the ground. The staff at the venue pulled the plug and escorted him to the authorities who arrested him. Afroman?s rep told Billboard, "This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space. It was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces."
