Though she?s best known as a ?Gossip Girl,? Leighton Meester has her sights set on pop star glory with her new ditty.

The ?Country Strong? star just unleashed her new single ?Heartstrings,? the lead track from her upcoming album of the same name.

Of the song, Leighton told Billboard, ??Heartstrings' speaks to vibe and encompasses a lot of the themes of the rest of the album. It's been a long time coming and I'm very excited to finally release it."
