Jerod Brown, who has been keeping the public informed about his cousin's medical status via his Facebook page, has been arrested.
The Atlanta Police Department reports Jerod was driving his Cadillac Escalade in Atlanta on Monday when he was pulled over during a traffic stop. Allegedly, when cops approached the car, the odor of weed emitted from the vehicle.
When Jerod was asked his name, he gave a fake one. And lied about his license. According to 11 Alive News:
According to Atlanta Police, an officer pulled over Jerod Wallace Brown-Carter, 27, on Howell Mill Road around 2 a.m. after the officer said he detected "the odor of marijuana" emitting from the GMC Yukon Brown was driving.
When asked by the officer if there was any marijuana in the vehicle, the driver responded, "No, but we just came from the studio."
The driver told the officer that he had a Georgia license, but didn't have it on him. He said his name was Jahraim Wallace Reid. Officers later determined that his name was actually Jerod Wallace Brown-Carter, he was not licensed and had an outstanding warrant out of Gwinnett County.
Jerod's been arrested for driving without a license and for false representation. Sigh.
