Now that BET's "The Game" is in the final quarter, it's time for Brandy to announce her next move...and we've got all the details. Ms. Norwood is taking her award-winning voice and "DWTS" training all the way to Broadway.
Starting Tuesday, April 28th, B-Rocka will play an 8-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre as the infamous 'Roxie Hart'.
In addition to selling 40 million records, Brandy made history in Disney’s television film Cinderella as its first black princess (Keke Palmer claimed the same feat on Broadway) and she recently received a 2014 NAACP Image Award for her role as Chardonnay on BET’s “The Game.

What does Tia Mowry Hardrict cook in the kitchen? Well....over the course of six half-hour episodes, viewers of the Cooking Channel will soon find out. The "Instant Mom" star has landed her own cooking show called "Tia Mowry at Home" and it's premiering on Wednesday, April 29th at 9:00pmET/6:00pmPT.
According to the press release, we can expect "a variety of flavors" based on the different cities she's lived in and an array of "tasty and tempting foods" that make hubby Cory and son Cree smile.
Tia says, "Over the years, my fans have become familiar with my style on the red carpet. Now, I'm excited to share my style in the kitchen, and a more personal side of my life."
Michael Smith, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Cooking Channel added,
"Tia Mowry is a welcome addition to the Cooking Channel family. Audiences have watched her grow up in front of the camera. Now, they will get a taste of her passion for preparing home cooked meals, and a look inside her life as a full-time mother and working actress."
In addition to cooking, we will see Tia get an impromptu basketball session from Metta World Peace, an outdoor yoga lesson with instructor Alex Crow, and her friend, actress Natasha Marc, and kiddie Cree have a play-date.
This all happens while delicious meals ranging from Grilled Lollipop Lamb Chops to Cornish Game Hens with a side of Collard Greens are on the stove. Yum.
