It appears the details from Lil Wayne’s lawsuit against Cash Money and his “boss” Birdman have spilled. Get it inside….

Since Lil Wayne filed legal documents to sue his “daddy” Birdman and the Cash Money label for $51 million, the details of the lawsuit have leaked. You’ll recall Weezy blasting Birdman and Cash Money for not coughing up his dough ($10 milli to be exact) after he completed his much-delayed Tha Carter V.

In the leaked docs, it reveals the discrepancies between Weezy & Birdman surrounding The Carter V album, amendments to former contracts, the break down of how much money is owed and why.

An excerpt from the 21-page lawsuit states:

In early December, 2014, Carter delivered to Cash Money the sound recordings comprising the second of the solo albums, entitled Tha Carter V, provided for by the 2012 Amendment. Although obligated to pay Carter Eight Million Dollars ($8,000,000.00) at the commencement of the recording of Tha Carter V and Two Million Dollars($2,000,000.00) upon delivery of the album, Cash Money breached the 1998 Recording Agreement as amended specifically by the 2012 Amendment, by failing to pay Carter the Eight Million Dollar ($8,000,000.00) payment upon commencement of the recording and paying Carter only Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) over the course of the recording of Tha Carter V. Moreover, Cash Money has refused to pay Carter the Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) due upon delivery of Tha Carter V to Cash Money. Cash Money has refused to pay Carter the balance of Eight Million Dollars ($8,000,000.00) due Carter in respect of Tha Carter V, despite due demand therefore by Carter.

It also reveals there have been disputes between Wayne and Cash Money dating back to 2005, but amendments to their contracts were able to smooth things over. That is, until Wayne didn’t get his money. The “Start A Fire” rapper owns 49% of Young Money whereas Birdman owns the other $51%.

The lawsuit also shines light on disputes over money from Drake’s solo recordings. Young Money was supposed to receive 1/3 of his net profits that they never received. On top of that, Wayne/Young Money is seeking backpay for paying artists who claimed they did not receive payment from Cash Money. Yes…a LOT is going on.
