It?s always an exciting event to behold and this year?s MTV Video Music Awards is getting an extra dose of sexy man candy.
For the first time, Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5 will take the stage at The Forum in Inglewood when the VMAs go live on Sunday, August 24th, along with fellow acts like Ariana Grande, Usher and 5Seconds of Summer.
The ?Voice? coach told press, "We are so excited about our upcoming new album and to be part of the great VMA lineup this year.?
He added, ?It is our first time doing the show and we are thrilled to be on it performing our new single.?
Back in 2011, Adam was critical of the show?s network for having so much reality television and so few music videos. At the time he tweeted, "The VMA's. One day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I'm drawing a line in the sand. F*ck you VMA's.?
