The gorgeous Taraji P. Henson hit up late night television to dish on improvising her lines as 'Cookie Lyon' on the hit FOX series “Empire.” Peep her discussion with talk show host Seth Meyers inside….
Ahead of her “Saturday Night Live” hosting gig, “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson made an appearance on the “Late Night With Seth Meyers” show Thursday night in NYC.
The 44-year-old actress was smoking hot in a figure hugging Leka NYC black dress, detailed with white dots and paired with white booties as she hit the stage to chop it up about her role on the popular series.
Out of all of the characters on “Empire,” Taraji’s character Cookie Lyon serves some of the best one-liners and epic shade. While chatting with Seth, she revealed many of her memorable catchphrases are improvised.
Since the hip hopera airs on network TV, there aren't too many curse words used on the show. But, Taraji has her own way of telling you what's really on her mind...with her eyes. She said she learned to "swear with her eyes" from legendary actress Bette Davis.
