Friday night, The Wests continued their Armenian trip all while took a moment for themselves. After making an appearance -- with Kim in a rare bold red look -- at the memorial commemorating the victims of the Armenian genocide 100 years ago, Kim and Kanye grabbed dinner together.
The family is in town for the 100 year anniversary commemorating the Armenian genocide, and they've turned their relity cameras on the cause. But that somber occasion didn't dampen their romantic dinner:
Meanwhile, New York Times' T magazine released its style profile on Mr. West.
West displays his left wrist, tattooed the previous day with his mother's birthday
Shot by photographer Juergen Teller, Kanye's pictured behind the scenes in London during fashion week and elsewhere. And he shows off his new tattoo of his mother's birthday:
The article also highlights the different conversations NY Times chatted with Kanye about while spending a few days with the artist.
A phone convo with Kim where he's telling her what to wear:
“It went really good up at Adidas today,” West told Kardashian, and they chitchatted for a minute like any married couple. Then he paused, obviously listening to her. It was clear from his face that he enjoys this role — collaborator, producer, Pygmalion: “I like the black latex, also with the black fur, and then maybe with tights and the Alaïa high lace-ups,” he said.
On his fashion dreams:
“I dreamed, since I was a little kid, of having my own store where I could curate every shoe, sweatshirt and color,” he said. “I have sketches of it. I cried over the idea of having my own store.”
On how he views himself:
“I’m not a celebrity, I’m an activist,” he says. “The fact that when I see truth it’s really hard for me to sit back and just allow it to happen in front of me on my clock makes me, a lot of times, a bad celebrity.”
On his life post-anger management:
“I feel like now I have an amazing wife, a supersmart child and the opportunity to create in two major fields,” he said. “Before I had those outlets, my ego was all I had.”
