We first saw Imani Hakim as little sister "Tonya" on "Everybody Hates Chris" back in 2005, along with a few commercials and guest starring roles on other shows. And now, the 21-year-old is all grown up:
The YBF chick is still booking roles. She recently played Gabby Douglas in the Lifetime story about the Olympian's life. And now, she's set to star in the upcoming stripper flick, a la Magic Mike, starring a black cast. In Chocolate City, Imani wil play 'Carmen' in her first romantic lead role. She's starring opposite Robert Ri’chard (Coach Carter, Meet the Browns, One on One) who plays the male lead, Michael, who is a struggling college student whose life changes when he meets the owner of a male strip club.
The film also stars Tyson Beckford, Michael Jai White, Vivica A. Fox, Carmen Electra, Darrin Hewitt Henson, Ginuwine, and DeRay Davis. And it's expected to be released early 2015.
