The death of Robin Williams was one of the hardest Hollywood losses in years, and last night (September 18) Billy Crystal dropped by ?The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? to talk about his heartfelt Emmy tribute last month.
During the chat, the ?When Harry Met Sally? star recalled how he struggled to keep his composure as he addressed the audience- ?I was afraid I wasn?t going to get through it.?
Furthermore, Crystal shared that he and the ?Mrs. Doubtfire? star used to chat on the phone to keep each other encouraged and in-check.
?Our phone calls were amazing late at night. Hours. When were finished we were like two jazz musicians who got new horns,? recalled Billy.
